Now #StephenBannon is set free again to rule his little empire of Breitbart News. This may give him the time to focus on splitting the nation deeper. Over the past months we should have learned that #racism was never eradicated. It's been with us all the time, covered under the veil of welfare through consumption. This phase is over. Racism is deeper entrenched within us than we admitted ourselved to believe. The marketing of the taliban an ISIS has contributed to turning fear to hate. The oil gets pumped into the gap of existential fear that an anti-social neoliberalism created. We can condemn people for hating "fags", "muslims", "jews" or "niggers" - and we should. However, dialog should never stop or we will see something explode from within. The fuel that fear and keeps anger growing is condemnation and misinformation. The proof of dangerous forces arising is the thin layer of congruency in world views: from political left to right, all through the centre. It is the fear of losing social security and wealth on one side and the anger over recent wars that were fought for resources. Things could be worse. Could they be?

All of us get fear drummed into our heads every day. From the news, from the Porsches and the blanket-man at the curb, from colleagues... from the elevated paradigm of constant competition. This fear lets us shift gears in that rat race instead of slowing down and help those who have fallen. The latter group is constantly growing - so if you stop with dignity and help, it will be us, resting.

Scaramucci and you, poor bastard

No reason to talk about Anthony Scaramucci. We all learned his name. And did we learn that he is an obnoxious dude with heaps of money too? I think so.If one takes a man like him serious then it is only because of his wealth. After all, if we give money such power, we empowering people like him and Trump alike. It may sound impossibly strange, but we need to deny the power of money - as a logical result

How is Hollywood still a thing?

NZ news are (sub)titling: The newest Air New Zealand safety video has been released with a star-studded line-up including Oscar-winning Cuba Gooding Jr and actress Katie Holmes. Wow. Yawn. How is this still a thing? I am not a teenager anymore - but does TVNZ really believe, anyone cares about Hollywood? That's decades behind reality. Facebook hat diese Funktion, wo kurze Texte mit tollen Hintergründen belegt werden. Man kann Hintergrundfarben oder Farbverläufe auswählen. Und die Smileys kommen richtig schön zur Geltung. Das hat was. Sowas wie neon-Werbung für Gedanken - welcher Art auch immer. Wichtig ist es, die Sprüche richtig kurz zu halten, um die Hintergründe zu behalten. Jetzt wird es akustisch - nicht bloß für Synästhetiker. Die Farben schreien. Alle Browserhersteller haben die Logik so implementiert, daß Videos auf Webseiten nur dann automatisch spielen, wenn sie stumm sind. Selbst facebook kam da nicht vorbei. Aber dieser facebook-Hype meinerseits an dieser Stelle kommt daher, daß ich keine 18 mehr bin. Für die ist das Schnee von vorvorgestern.

The omniscience bias: Why the internet spreads superstition
